Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
ATH Rides (“ATH Rides,” “we,” “us”) is a small ride-tracking tool operated by an individual. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email rides@athrides.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). Passwords are stored hashed; we never see your plain password.
- Rider information you add. The names and Venmo handles you save for the people you drive.
- Ride records. The rides you log — dates, prices, and the notes used to build payment requests.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the service: tracking rides, calculating weekly totals, and generating prefilled Venmo payment links. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising or tracking analytics.
Where your data is stored
Your data lives in a self-hosted Supabase (PostgreSQL) database on our own private server. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
Third-party services
When you tap a settle link, we open Venmo with the recipient, amount, and a note prefilled. ATH Rides does not process, transfer, or hold money, and we do not receive your Venmo account credentials. Your use of Venmo is governed by Venmo’s privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated rider and ride records at any time by emailing rides@athrides.com from your account email address. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.
Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
